Kpop audition 2018 – Interviews with singers in 2018
A group of Kpop performers are expected to appear on a national stage in Australia for the first time in 2020.
Kpop auditionees have been invited to perform in Australia as part of an effort to promote diversity and equality, including encouraging the production of more female singers and leading to more talented female performers being chosen to perform.
The ABC has been invited by the ACT Government to attend the performances.
Participants will be asked to perform at an audition at the ACT Convention Centre, which is scheduled to begin on September 30.
Kpop performers who have been selected to perform will also receive awards, including a $1000 prize and a new album.
Participating performers will also have a photo taken with the Prime Minister, and they will be able to perform a song during the event.
The ACT Government says that it is a great opportunity to show that the ACT is a diverse and open state.
Korean singers from South Korea will be performing in the ACT.
