Which company gets the best security audit?
The cybersecurity industry is in a bit of a state of flux these days, with a lot of new, potentially disruptive technologies popping up every day.
A few years ago, we wrote about how there were many new, powerful technologies, some of which we would now call “futuristic” (like the self-driving car) that could potentially disrupt the cybersecurity industry.
And, as we said then, some would come and go, and others would be a little more successful.
Today, we have a new wave of technology that could disrupt the security industry.
Some of these technologies could make us safer.
And that includes the security systems we use everyday.
The security sector has historically been a big source of income for the security-related industries.
So it’s no surprise that the industry has been hit hard by the recession.
For instance, in 2017, there were nearly $1 trillion in lost revenue from cybersecurity products and services, according to IDC.
In 2017, the security market revenue was about $2.7 trillion, and cybersecurity revenue was $3.2 trillion, according the Institute for Critical Infrastructure Technology (ICIT).
In the past few years, there has been a flurry of activity, especially around the “hacktivism” movement.
The idea that governments, corporate security firms, and other groups would engage in cyber-attacks to “secure” websites, and even steal private data, has been gaining traction.
For example, last year, there was a hack of a cybersecurity firm that stole data from an undisclosed source.
In response, some companies and governments have been taking steps to improve their cybersecurity.
One of the most important steps is for governments to better monitor their cybersecurity efforts, and for companies to better identify cyberthreats and exploit them.
This is particularly true in the U.S., where many of our cybersecurity-related companies and individuals are located.
This is the third installment in a series on the cybersecurity sector.
Next week, we’ll talk about the cybersecurity companies that are the top 10 best-performing in terms of revenue.
